General Scope of the Workshop and Venue

The NDES series of workshops aims to provide an annual international forum to present and discuss recent advances in the analysis and applications of Nonlinear Dynamics of Electronic Circuits and Systems.

Following the successful conferences in Dresden (1993), Krakow (1994), and Dublin (1995), the fourth workshop will be hosted by the National Microelectronic Center and the School of Engineering of Seville, in Seville, Spain, on 27-28 June, 1996.

Seville, the capital of Andalusia, and site of the 1992 Universal Exhibition, combines a rich cultural heritage accumulated during its more than 2500 years of history with modern infrastructures in a stable and sunny climate. It boasts a large, prestigious university, several high-technology research centers of the Spanish Council of Research, and many cultural attractions. It is linked to Madrid by high-speed train and has an international airport serving several international flights, as well as many connections via Madrid and Barcelona.

The workshop will address theoretical and practical issues in nonlinear electronic devices, circuits and systems, with an emphasis on dynamic behavior, chaos and complexity. The technical program will consist of plenary lectures by experts in selected areas, along with papers and posters submitted by the participants.

Official language will be English.
